Simply Challenged - January 29 - Anything Goes!

Hello, all!

Anything Goes, yes you are correct use any SBS image and ANYTHING goes!!!

I always love an Anything Goes challenge! The hardest part for me is choosing which stamp to use!
For this challenge, I used Spaghetti Christian from the Teen Scene Kitchen Fun Collection!

Hot Stuff Card. I used Spaghetti Christian to create a cheeky little Valentine, along with some older kitchen-themed papers I had in my stash. The die cut pot was cut using my Cricut Expression and the
From My Kitchen cartridge.

Creative Creations Challenge #2 - Keep it Simple

Hello, all! I am a bit late in posting this! I have not gotten used to the time difference of my new DT! Lol.

This new challenge from CCC is to keep your projects simple! That should be easy enough for everyone, so I want to see just as many entries to this challenge as the first!

This challenge's sponsor is Digital Delights!

Here is my Keeping it Simple card:

No Place Like Home card. I used a fun "Dorothy" image from Digital Delights for my card. She came with her very own "Toto"! I used some of the scraps I had left from my Magic of Oz paper stack from Graphic 45. The images were colored with Copics.

I hope you'll stop by Creative Creations to join the challenge and visit Digital Delights to see the wonderful products they offer!

Simply Challenged - Jan 15 - Glow!

Hi, everyone! It's time for another SCC challenge! And this one is such a fun one! The challenge is to create a glow effect on the image you use for your project! This is a technique I am not really familiar with but I can truthfully tell you that it was a whole lot of fun to play with.

Here is my Glow Challenge example:

This was a blast to do! Everyone has a different ways of coloring, not to mention different coloring materials. I use Copic markers but I know of ladies who use Promarkers and even som that use colored pencils. Now, I colored in with the lime greens first, so that I would know where the glow was going to be.I then colored the rest of the image like I normally would. Finally, I went over the parts that were supposed to glow with the greens again. I am really happy with the way this came out.

Supplies:
Bo Bunny Enchanted Collection Papers
Bo Bunny Enchanted Collection Chipboard Stickers
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Peeled Paint Distress Ink
Lime Green Liquid Pearls
Copics
Shimmerz Hermit the Frog Mist

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to check out the SCC blog and the DT blogs to see all the awesome Glow projects created!

Creative Creations - Challenge 1 - Anything Goes!

Hello, all! I don't know if I announced this officially but I am now a member of the Creative Creations Design Team! The DT is for the new Creative Creations Challenges Blog! And today is the very first challenge! So to make it easy for everyone, it's Anything Goes!

The sponsor for this challenge is That Craft Place!

Please make sure to check the new challenge blog out! It's going to be lots of fun!

For this challenge, I created a card. I used a Simply B Stamp from the Teen Scene Kitchen Fun Collection; Baking Betty.

What's Cookin' Card. I colored the image using Copics and made highlights using an opaque white pen. The papers are from The Paper Studio, the alphas are from Thickers, and I used some Liquid Pearls for accents.

I hope you'll come and join in!

Simply B Stamps January Release!

Hello, all! Get ready for some cute images! (And a long post, LOL!) Simply B Stamps has done it again! The two new releases are the Shape Up Teens, which are totally adorable images just perfect for the new year and the resolutions that come with; and the Jude and the Rockers Valentines, which are some cute and quirky images that will brighten any valentine's day!

First up; the Shape Up Teens! With these I decided that I would create a motivational calendar for the new year. These images are going to (hopefully) help in motivating me to eat healthy and exercise more. I think that they are cute enough that they may help!

Oh Oh Betty. This Betty is perfect for the month of January when we all step on those scales after the holidays!

Them Guns Chris.

Thick Thighs Lola.

Diet Cheating Jude.

Jumping Into Fitness Rio.

You Can Do It Miller.

No Pain No Gain Christian.

The following months show images from the Sweet Gothic Kids Olympians collection:

Diver Judy.

Weight Lifting Scott.

Gymnast Sally.

Track Alex.

And these are the front and back covers of my finished calendar!

And now for the especially cute Jude Valentines!

Ariel Cupid.

Jude's Heart.

Ali Kitty Kiss.

Brittany Bag of Valentines.
